(Sharing Blueprints seems to be automatic I would have to see how to keep those private if you wish me to do so.) I am also content to be banned from the Accolade Leaderboard. I also would not share any more Livery Designs, Tunes, or Vinyl Designs. Since you find my Credits and/or XP questionable, please remove any Credits or XP that you feel are "ill-gotten." Now that I know that AFK'ing is bannable, I shall not do so again. I respectfully ask that my MathGuy42 account, and my console, be reinstated. You have boosting threads on your own forum for Creative Accolades, such as. Recently I also AFK'ed with a couple alt accounts to make progress on Livery Design and Tune Uses for the Creative Accolades (just for my own enjoyment of finishing Accolades). I haven't done this with my main account in awhile, except to drive 100 miles in the Bentley Blower, for example, which you admit was not fun. I thought this was acceptable since FH5 was patched to make this less lucrative. I readily admit that I have AFK'ed with my MathGuy42 account to gain Credits and XP. Everything was done via AFK or regular play. I received a permanent ban, no warning, for "Unaccounted for Credits and/or XP." First, let me state that I never modified the game or a save in any way to gain Credits or XP. My ticket was sent before finding those Reddit threads, so I thought Boosting Creative Accolades could have been the cause, but now I think it was just my own AFKing. I sent the following via Support Ticket, under Ban Inquiry, but based on the auto response, I think it just directs me to the Ban History page, with only the "Unaccounted for Credits and/or XP" explanation and closes the case. It would be nice to have a dialogue with PG, though that seems doubtful. I'm certainly guilty of AFK'ing and if PG insists that a permanent ban is a proper punishment, I shall accept it. The closest I could find was this December 2 Community Update: "We’re also aware of XP/credit AFK farms and other types of exploitative (emphasis mine) events dominating the EventLab menus and we’re working on systems to improve curation so that these events are not surfaced." Or in these November 17 Release Notes: "Added checks to stop an exploit with driving assists." I couldn't find any explicit warning from PG that AFK'ing was bannable. Like, never. Before yesterday, I would have thought this was only about modifying the actual software or hardware, not AFK'ing. Because of this, cheating, tampering, and the use of exploits is never acceptable in the Xbox community. When people cheat, use exploits, or otherwise tamper with hardware or software to gain a competitive advantage, it ruins the experience for everyone. On the other hand, this player says he played Goliath over and over, but did it legitimately.Īpparently AFK'ing falls under Exploitation in these Forza Enforcement Guidelines.Įxploitation: Since competition is best when it’s fair, a level playing field is one of the most important requirements for gaming. This person used AFK methods to play Goliath multiple times. However, I found two threads on Reddit with a similar ban. The only official explanation is Unaccounted for Credits and/or XP. I was just banned yesterday, along with my console. It seems that Playground Games is now handing out permanent online bans for AFK farming. Yet we were permanently banned with no warning. (List may have repeats due to using different social media forums.)įYI, the Forza Enforcement Guidelines and Why was I banned? article do not say that AFK is bannable. And PGG should admit, at least internally, that they are incorrectly banning people.) (Happy for him, but there should be an official appeal process. Ban reversed because lucky enough to get Community Manager attention. Friend banned, doesn't state if used AFKħ. Links to others banned after AFK or nothing at all (updated Feb 1, 2022)ģ. ![]()
